Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress actor, comedian, activist) is a comedian. After emigrating to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as an actor for children. In AT&T commercials she played the role of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 through 2016 and until 2020. She also was a regular series regular on Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally she was a series regular on Yahoo! Vayntrub has also voiced Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being selected to play the character in the unaired television pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At the age of two, she immigrated together with her parents to the U.S. to escape antisemitism. She moved to West Hollywood. Because of financial struggles within the family, she began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was five years old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She quit her sophomore year and earned a GED. After that, she went on to receive an Associate of Arts degree in communication from the University of California San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and learned Improv comedy.
