Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold both on the floor for the team and in individual competitions. Bronze was taken with her balance bar. She became one of the few American to have won the most Olympic medals. In the 2016, Olympics she took home an Olympic gold medal in the team event which earned her and her teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having been the first Americans to have two consecutive gold medals for the team. In addition, she won two silver medals for the floor exercise as well as an individual all-around. After the 2002 Olympics she was off for three years from gymnastics. Additionally, she was part of the gold medal winning American teams in 2 World Championships. She began learning gymnastics when she was two and her favourite event is floor workouts. Aly gives her time and money to Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in memory of her deceased grandmother. In the future, she is planning to create a profession from fashion. She would also like to extend her leotards line as well as her socks. Fierce the new novel she's currently working on will be published at the end of this year.
